Listing Description

Kitchen Table Consultants and Taste Profit Marketing (Good Roots Inc.) are sister firms providing finance, management and marketing services focused exclusively on our food and farming industry. Founded in 2009, we’ve served more than 700 clients. We believe that to achieve the change we all want to see in our food system our efforts have to be rooted in financial resiliency of the businesses and organizations doing the hard work.

Each of our 29 team members come from the food and farm sector, work within the local food system on a regional basis, and have first hand experience in advancing local and regional food economies. Our proven ability to leverage real world experience and deep knowledge of successful planning and execution across finance, management and marketing allows us to provide real value to our clients. We work with our clients to both manage growth and build a financial foundation that lasts decades. In a typical year, we have over 250 active projects across 165 unique clients. They range from start-ups (both farms and food manufacturing companies) to multimillion dollar, scaled operations, with most falling in the middle.
