Listing Description

Food Works Group (FWG) is a women-owned advisory firm that measures, strategizes and executes equitable and sustainable progress across the food system. Our work helps clients solve operational challenges with a goal towards accelerating success, maximizing impact, and adapting to the fast-paced evolution of regional food systems. Our team is nationally-based, working remotely across the U.S., and our clients are likewise from across the country.

As leaders in organizational strategy, we advise clients on a range of topics, including agriculture and food production business operations and planning; asset mapping and needs assessments; food bank, food hub, commercial kitchen, and value-add food production technical assistance; strategic stakeholder engagement; and board and organizational training, among other topics. Looking closely at regional supply chain infrastructure and applying concepts of sustainability, food security, and equity underpin the approach and methodology of our work.

Founded in 2011, FWG has worked with all types of food business projects, including non-profit hunger-relief organizations, for-profit commercial food accelerators, private foundations, city food councils, regional agricultural food hubs and networks, and more. We have worked with urban and remote-rural and frontier communities. Our diverse project portfolio ensures an informed, effective experience, and helps clients find new opportunities to work collaboratively and efficiently.
