Listing Description

Cultivating Community works in Greater Portland, Maine by providing education, resources, and opportunities to grow a more sustainable food system. Founded in 2001, our place-based programs prioritize neighbors most likely to experience hunger with support, fresh food, and land access.

Our programs include two community farms providing technical assistance, training, and market development support for beginning farmers; community food programs that provide fresh vegetables; youth leadership internships; and building, managing, and advocating for school and community gardens.
